Justice must be served for all the people of colour who have been murdered and abused by the over-policing in America. Change starts with education and diving inward — ask yourself the tough questions and stop turning a blind eye, especially if you consider yourself white and “woke.” Racism can be very nuanced and your ignorance and silence contributes to the ongoing systemic racism all around us. If you can’t protest in the streets right now, for reasons to do with the pandemic or otherwise, I hope these resources will help you. I’ll be updating them as I study and learn.
